Review on VIGIND Bluetooth Bathroom Composition Smartphone by Jeff Callier

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Long review but works great!

I have a similar scale (also on Amazon, I think Fit Index; it's white) and my mom loved it so I bought her a VIGIND scale. The app syncs very well with her scale and I can see that it handles body composition pretty well. the scale I have. We weighed each other on both scales; We've noticed that the Fit Index is slightly more accurate when just looking at a weight number, but the VIGIND scale is more accurate at predicting body composition percentages [which is actually the main reason for buying this scale]. We calibrate the scale every time we use it, and the scale stays in the same place (it doesn't move), but sometimes it says you've accidentally gained 10 pounds in a day or two. It might be the weight of the water, but when we step on my Fitness Index scale we get similar results as expected. She didn't test the scale by putting a 5lb weight on it to make sure it read 5lbs so that would be our next test but we agree with the accuracy range, it's mostly accurate. Scales are great for determining body composition, but accuracy can be a bit wonky when you're actually weighing things. Since most people look at a body fat and muscle scale, I would recommend this scale.

Pros
  • Stable support. The blue backlit LCD display delivers crystal clear images while 6mm thick tempered glass creates a solid 11 x 11 inch / 28 x 28 cm platform to stand on.
