The first thing that struck me was the low resolution of the image, and then what appeared to be a hair stuck in the lens right out of the box. I checked the final in math, the mic didn't work. In fact, it's failed the last few times I've used it for Zoom and Teams meetings, not to mention using it in the Respondus Lockdown browser for a timed controlled check. The way it's sitting on my monitor isn't the least bit certain. If you have a thin monitor, only gravity and a plastic bar will keep it in place to keep it from falling. It literally sits on the monitor with no tension and locks it in place. On the plus side, it really plugs in and works, and when it did, I recorded a YouTube presentation for my philosophy class pretty smoothly. After weighing the pros and cons, I recommend not buying this webcam.
