Favorite coffee maker in my kitchen. I usually grind my coffee very finely to make it stronger. I wanted a reusable filter to reduce debris, but a lot of them don't do well with fine grinds. This in no way skips the grinding in the coffee. It drains a little slowly, but that's what a strong brew is all about (my previous brew dripped pretty quickly and had to run through the water twice or the coffee would be weak). The glass floor is beautiful! I keep it on the counter when not in use and it looks very decorative (you can see through the glass on a nice stand).
