Doesn't happen often, but I love the new tool. This is undoubtedly the best tool for removing lead-free solder from circuit boards. Literally one pull of the trigger and BAM, the solder is removed. There is no sign of a rupture. What remains is the unequipped circuit board. Cleaning 5 minutes or less. Supplied with case and 1.0mm tip. Tips for this are expensive, but worth it. So if you're tired of overheating circuit boards, erasing traces, or pumping a handheld vacuum 20 or 30 times only to miss half the solder, just buy this one. Stop wasting your time. You will not regret it! I'll let the attached photos speak for themselves, which is only the case when using this tool! Note that some leads will still be clipped into holes (vias) on the PCB to be desoldered. A quick tap with another tool (not a tap unless you intend to change them often) allows the component to be moved. My only concern is the 90 day guarantee! Really Hako? One star off for the greedy bean counters at Hakko USA who have decided to only offer US customers a 90 day warranty on this product. Made in Japan, but Hakko doesn't last more than 90 days!
