The coasters look nice and you don't have to worry about glasses sticking to them or coasters sliding around everywhere. They hold back condensation from the windows well. Everything you could want in a coaster. Just a couple of issues that put off the star: They're pretty hard to clean. If you try to clean between indentations with a sponge, the sponge will tear, so you should probably use a brush. Most coasters can be cleaned by wiping, but that is a cleaning process. Because they're black, it's easy to tell when they're dirty and need frequent cleaning. I have a wooden coffee table and sometimes coasters leave an imprint of the underside of the coaster on the wood. It's a pain to try and peel off and some are still visible. I'm not sure if it's the cover on my coffee table.
