I am so disappointed in these headphones. I'm a high school teacher and (fortunately) didn't buy them out of my own pocket but with gifts from the Parents' Committee. I thought I did my best to find the best for the price. Unfortunately, 3 pairs of headphones broke on first use today, all in one place. A poorly designed (too short screw) will easily break the main head's "strap" causing the earbud to break. (see image) I used Gorilla Glue on the first pair as an emergency fix before realizing I would be dealing with it until the class set is destroyed. I'm a loyal Revain customer, both personally and professionally, and I don't often write reviews. However, this product is such a BIG mistake that I feel the need to warn others, especially the teachers this product is aimed at. Update 10/3: GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! After we contacted Barks directly, their customer service department and Brad (owner) were very responsive and apologetic. This appears to be an error in a batch of their product that was recently shipped. After reporting the problem, they replaced the defective headphones with new ones free of charge. We haven't had a chance to test them in class yet, but I'm pretty sure Barks will fix it if we have any problems in the future.
