Great for Skype for webcams

I only got it a few days ago so I'll add more info here when I test it later. I intentionally did NOT install any Logitec software. and really wanted to use Windows 7's internal 64-bit drivers so there are no potential conflicts. I also use an external headset and microphone and this combination works great with Skype. simply plugging in the usb cable of the webcam automatically loads the installed internal windows driver and the picture was excellent and it allows for a few options in skype's advanced settings dialog. I'm not 100% sure if it streamed 1080p. but I'm pretty sure the camera's auto focus works well as I was able to get very close to the pill bottles and read the prescriptions. as well as stepping back and seeing the space behind me clearly, even in fairly dim light at night. The picture I see is much better than the MS 5000 webcam I just gave a friend in exchange for $20. I need to call me on the iPad and see if it's clear there. My brother said it was great. but what does he know (LoL). I was disappointed to find out that you (or someone in your group) have to pay Skype $56 upfront for 12 months of group video chat. and it cannot contain mobile phones or iPads. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh looks like I'll try this with Hangouts Google Plus as it's free and supports group videos from iPhone and Android devices (as well as PCs like Skype) but it's for free. to lead? The foldable clip at the base of the webcam attaches very easily over an LCD monitor and is pretty damn stable. I like it too. I like it very much so far. I hope you too. JimS
