The switch works fine, the sound is buzzing.

I first bought this to switch my gaming PC to the monitor and audio I use for music/video editing. There is no hum in the base system. Video switching works flawlessly, there is no additional flickering when switching. If at all, then only once. I connected it to a 3440x1440 monitor and ran it at 60Hz. However, the audio channel hums. Very noisy when using the included USB power cable to your computer's USB port. Less if you plug it into power. Also, it didn't seem to require power with USB cables connected, so I tried that as well. It was the same as using an AC adapter, better than a computer's USB port. The hum might not be as noticeable if I'm just switching between two computers and a couple of small speakers on my desk. However, it was too loud to ignore in my reference monitors, studio headphones, or decent gaming headphones. If you just want basic KVM, this works fine. Surprisingly, he even enabled G-Sync on the monitor. A nice benefit as otherwise it would lock my screen from 144Hz to 60Hz. The sound didn't work for me and that's why I bought it, that's why I sent it back. Not everyone needs sound, and the rest performed as well or even better than the budget KVMs I've used before, which is why I gave it 4 stars.
