Review on Propel by Johnny Bloomer

I like how you can customize the data entry fields and the way they are laid out. For example there was no way to have dates entered as year-month-day format. No way to have a date range within a row of a table. No way to link data entries to other tables or items. The layout could be more intuitive to use. Also, since it is not supported by Salesforce, it would be nice if it were an add-on option for Salesforce users. You cannot have a separate database unless you pay for additional licenses. So unless you want to go through a lengthy process of moving everything from one database to another it's not worth it. The main benefit we got from using this product was being able to create and maintain our own inventory and tracking system instead of relying on Salesforce.com to do that for us.
