I love this tool. That works great. I own and run a window shop so I chase a lot. So I bought this Makita cartridge gun. Wow, I just had to pull the trigger. Most days I install 15-20 windows per day (new build). These are all four sides of the window nail flange that will be caulked. Now that it's winter and the caulk is getting a little chilly (keep it in the truck on the way to work), the tool has failed to work with the tool. The carbon fiber seal tube retainer is threaded and has now failed and will only pop over the threads once a little pressure is applied. I'll call Makita tomorrow, they have a one year limited warranty on their website. I've only had the tool since November 1st, 2016 and it's now a few days past Revain's 30 day return policy. suggest the carbon fiber seal tube holder and carbon fiber counter washer be made of a stronger material. Another reason this tool is only given four stars is that the carbon fiber piston at the end of the pushrod does not restrain the inevitable extrusion of the seal. from reaching the pole and causing a mess.
