Review on 🍿 Matinee Movie Magic: Unleash the Great Northern Popcorn Experience by Mike Marks

We ordered this popcorn maker after much research and decided it was the best option for the price and perfect for our needs. This is for home use at the parties we throw so we use it from time to time. The package arrived within 3 days with a day off before the big party we were supposed to throw the next day. The box was broken in places and you could hear that something was broken inside. When we opened the box we found that everything was well packed except for the heater which had no protection whatsoever. We removed everything else and found there was a dent on 2 legs. It would have been a hassle to pack everything back up to send the car back. We felt this was for more aesthetic purposes and didn't seem to affect the weight of the machine. Everything went together easily, the instructions are clear. When we got to the final part of the hopper assembly we found that 2 screws and 2 bolts were missing which we felt would not support the weight of the machine without these screws/bolts. (Seriously? We got to the final part of assembling this thing to find the 2 missing screws/bolts. Needless to say we were a little frustrated.) Luckily my husband had a few extra screws and bolts which we could use, but it's not essence. I have reached out to Great Northern Popcorn and will update this review once I hear from them. On a positive note, we loved the popcorn! We bought the pre-packaged GNW brand and it tastes like cinema popcorn. Not too salty and just the right amount of butter and fresh. It is very easy to use and clean. All in all we have no regrets buying this popcorn maker and think it's value for money and we'll definitely be using it. We would have given it 5 stars if it wasn't for the bruises on the legs and a few missing parts.
