Review on 🎧 Bose Soundbar Universal Remote Control for Soundbar 500 & 700: Optimize Your Audio Experience by Justin Ellingson

I don't usually write reviews because most of the products I buy already have many reviews with average ratings, which I think they should be. With this Bose universal remote, someone reading old reviews may get the wrong impression of what the product is capable of at the time of this review. I was a little hesitant to purchase this remote after reading the reviews here on Revain and elsewhere. However, I decided to take a risk and give it a try. I'm glad I did because Bose seems to have fixed the bugs. I simply connected the remote to the Bose Soundbar 500, Vizio M507-G1 and Roku Ultra using the Bose Music app. It took me 5 minutes at most. Maximum. Again, this remote works with the Roku Ultra at the time of this review. It looks like Bose took care of a lot of issues from the start. Roku Ultra: Yes. Tip: When pairing with the TV, I simply manually entered my TV's model number into the Bose Music app (tap "Advanced Setup" during the pairing process). This has improved the pairing and calibration work of the remote control so that the right buttons perform the right actions when controlling the TV. Your experience may vary depending on the TV. As for the overall design, the remote control is very sleek and sleek, which I really appreciate. However, it's a bit heavier and larger than a typical Roku remote, TV, soundbar, etc. Personally, I like how solid it feels. Also, I noticed that some reviews mention that the key backlights don't stay on long enough. So far this hasn't been a problem for me as I end up using muscle memory to quickly find the right button. TL; DR: Works well with Roku Ultra. Super easy pairing with the Bose Music app on your phone.
