I like this book. The pages are thick enough that I can stack alcohol-based markers to my heart's content and still draw on them with colored pencil. Plus, the anti-leak protection due to the clear rubber page that comes with the book makes it feel less like a traditional sketchbook and more like a professional portfolio for supporting and storing your artwork without the need for an additional folder or binder. to keep your artwork safe. The pages are all perforated so they can be torn out if desired, but I still let the page peel itself off, which is amazing in itself. The only issue I have with the book is minimal. I just wish the sides were bigger, but 9x9 is still good for less deep character development when creating original content.
