I have an iPad that my 1 year old grandson uses to view his touch tunes, but I needed an iPad that would stand on a 3 1/2 inch tall bookshelf without tipping so he could see it properly. This item fully met my needs. It's built pretty solidly and there are plenty of tilt options if you need it. I am very satisfied with this product.
