Poor welding of replacement parts
I don't know what material they were made of but they don't weld well at all. They are magnetic. I welded them using the TIG method and the material of the cork melted in a strange way, similar to what happens with cast material. Maybe the alloy was good for machining but bad for welding. The build quality was excellent.
