I wanted a Trek Marlin dripper but didn't want to spend money to upgrade to 1x to make room for an internally routed dripper, found this and decided to get it to try . I've been driving it for about 6 months and I really like it. The lever position is very awkward when adjusting the seat height on the go - you have to carefully remove your hand from the steering wheel to push it down. lever arm. I would recommend anyone looking for a dripper to get a nicer, reputable branded remote dripper, especially if you have a 1x transmission. I would only recommend this if you're just trying to ride a cheap XC bike more comfortably and putting off upgrading to a newer, high-end bike. But for a cheap temporary solution, it was perfect.
