good option when internal cables are tight

I have an older Salsa Beargrease with a 27.2 seatpost. I didn't really want to mess with external cables and appreciated the easy clean install. I was concerned about the potential issues of having to grab the handlebars with one hand to adjust the seat, but at fat bike speeds, controlling the underseat droppers wasn't a big deal. It is more difficult to operate when using the poggy on the handlebars. So far the campaign has been very positive. So far very satisfied.

Ideal for gravel bikes

I needed a simple folding seatpost with a seat lever for my gravel bike. I didn't need a big drop like an off-road endro, I wanted something light enough but most importantly I didn't want the stance to squirm and chatter. Many of the cheaper seat posts have noticeable lateral play. I'm happy to report that TransX is for you. Works great, well built, lowers and rises well enough for my 220lb frame. 4″ of travel is all I need, but some serious MTB riders would find fault with that. Very well…

Great upgrade for cheap bikes

I wanted a Trek Marlin dripper but didn't want to spend money to upgrade to 1x to make room for an internally routed dripper, found this and decided to get it to try . I've been driving it for about 6 months and I really like it. The lever position is very awkward when adjusting the seat height on the go - you have to carefully remove your hand from the steering wheel to push it down. lever arm. I would recommend anyone looking for a dripper to get a nicer, reputable branded remote dripper…

ATTENTION - good product BUT.

This seems like a good solid product but you have to be very careful to measure the clearance before you buy it or you'll only lose $100. When installed in the seat tube, this dropper post is a full 4 inches high from the top of the seat tube to the top of the seat rail clamp, so your saddle will be at least 6-7 inches higher than the top of the seat tube. when the post is fully collapsed. In other words, in the lowest position, it's like lengthening a regular seatpost by about 4 inches. You…

Helps me feel more confident stopping and starting

I have balance issues stopping my bike and a little bit when starting. This is made worse by the fact that the seat is high enough for full and efficient pedaling, which means my feet don't touch the ground when I'm stopped and I have to lean the bike or on a pedal must stand - balancing - to lean in the opposite direction. Doesn't always work, fell down several times. With my most efficient legs, the distance from the crank to the ground is obviously too great. This seat allows me to quickly…

Great and inexpensive dripper. Easy installation. Good ergonomics.

I have a remote dropper on my full suspension bike and got it for my small 2017 Trek Marlin. It was so easy to install. You just plug it in like a regular seat post. The 1-bolt saddle clamp holds the saddle securely and the seat angle does not change. The lever is unobtrusive and perfectly positioned for a quick grip. My bike was used at $400 so I couldn't justify a $200 remote dropper + rack setup but this one is only $100 and works fine. There is minimal rotational play in the seat, even less

I like it! - Seatposts

If you are a young mountain hot rod rider, downhill enthusiast or competition lover, this post is not for you. A handlebar-mounted, cable-operated seatpost is exactly what you need. But you guys and gals already know that. If, like me, you're older and prefer a higher pedaling seat height but find it uncomfortable in tight or slow-speed situations where you can't easily put your foot on the ground, this option works great. To adjust it, you need to crawl under the seat's speaker. That means you
