I have a remote dropper on my full suspension bike and got it for my small 2017 Trek Marlin. It was so easy to install. You just plug it in like a regular seat post. The 1-bolt saddle clamp holds the saddle securely and the seat angle does not change. The lever is unobtrusive and perfectly positioned for a quick grip. My bike was used at $400 so I couldn't justify a $200 remote dropper + rack setup but this one is only $100 and works fine. There is minimal rotational play in the seat, even less than my PNW Cascade. The minimum seat height is definitely lower compared to the standard fixed post because the top seat clamp sits about 4 inches above the seat post collar. I'm 5'6" and with the seatpost fully deployed, 100mm of travel puts them in my ideal position for fully extended climbing. If you are below this may not work for you. If you are taller, the seatpost can be pushed lower to push the saddle higher. When fully compressed, my feet are flat on the floor. way enough.
