Review on 🔨 ACTIVA Plus Natural Self-Hardening Clay White 2.2 lbs: Premium Air-Dry Modeling Clay for Sculpting & Crafts by Denise Davis

I wanted to let the clay air dry to create a sort of "top" around the fossilized tooth pendant, which I didn't want to bake in the oven (I'm worried about the heat discolor or possibly crack). Since I had a lot left over I decided to also use it to fill in the rough gray outer part of the small geode I have that was missing large chunks. I've tried them all. I tried to wet the clay one last time before letting it dry and covered it with a plastic bag to keep it from drying out too quickly. large cracks formed during the drying process. I used some water to smooth them out and although the cracks were smaller and thinner in the final product, they still were. The geode, which used significantly more clay, had fewer cracks, but the clay sagged visibly and fell off the edges. I'll probably take some baked clay and take a chance. It's a pity that it dried so badly, because I liked working with clay. I'm not a sculptor and my experience with clay is limited to using Sculpey at summer camp as a kid. It was very easy for me to understand how to work with it, even as a complete beginner. I will keep it for playing and practicing. Maybe I can think of another trick to prevent the cracking.
