Review on 🔧 Hallmark Industries MA0419X-12A Stainless Steel Deep Well Submersible Pump, 2HP, 230V 60HZ, 33 Gpm - Suitable for 4-Inch or Larger Wells by Johnny Grant

So far this pump has been excellent! The well is 328 feet deep and produces very good water. I noticed that there was a light film of oil in the water, which we never had. This was most likely due to residual grease in the pump from the factory which disappeared after a few days of use. I was a little concerned about the size of the cord, especially the ground wire. Although this is a 3-wire pump, I used an old 4-wire cable for a previous pump that I removed from the well. That being said, I took an extra braided ground wire, attached a grommet to it, then removed the screw on the side of the motor housing and reattached the extra ground to improve grounding and avoid potential problems due to the small factory ground wire. So far, so good. Overall I am very pleased with the excellent performance this pump has shown. I hope the pump lasts a long time. Thanks Hallmark Industries!
