This is exactly what is listed, so I give it high marks. But it's not easy to use the free hand. I use it to trim corners on picture frames after cutting out the back. It is so small that it was difficult for me to see the shadow on the bridle and the cutting line. I will return to 1/4 inch in the future. It can probably be used on a table, but move slowly. It's small and with a flute.
