i made a cake crust on it yesterday and it was the best and lightest crust i've ever made. After soaking the dough in flour, I rolled out the bottom cake. I placed the fabric directly on the counter and quickly noticed that it moved when rolled. It's a bit annoying. So, before I roll out the top cake, I place the silicone mat I have under the candy towel. The napkin stuck to the silicone mat and stayed in place, making it easier to unroll. Both times the crust separated easily and cleanly from the sheet of dough. I wish I had had it sooner. One note: when I took it out of the box there was a big crease in the middle of the fabric so I had to iron it out.
