I bought this to save a few bucks. I had to send the meter back. The biggest problem is the lack of support from the manufacturer. To use the gauge, you must be able to convert stress readings to kilograms of force. Well, in the conversion chart, my spokes are not listed on the chart. So I went to the manufacturer's website to get conversions. They don't even have a counter on the site. Without proper spoke tension conversion, the gauge is useless. It doesn't matter if it was 10am, it's not worth it. If your needles landed on their conversion chart, this might be a good choice for you, but if you want to use them on multiple types of needles and they're not all on the chart, it's useless. I came back and bought the Park instrument for another 30.00. I didn't want to spend too much but in the end it's the best choice. Park Tool has an amazing automated website that will help you tension and adjust your wheelset.
