The case stands on the table (there is no way to put it under the table, there is no space), the front wall is all open (mesh), the carriage with disks is installed near it. The disk is used for storing files (there are no games on it, only documents, photographs, etc.), therefore, during normal work, you can sometimes hear how it rustles under your ear, but when you start switching to it (namely, open folder shortcuts from the desktop that lead to hard, or you need to attach a picture on the Internet) it starts - first the disk itself freezes for a couple of seconds, the folder opens, then a slight hum begins and after it a crack for 2-3 seconds. In idle time, the drive will sometimes also buzz, then crackle and calm down. Perhaps it will be inaudible in closed system units, but for myself I will look for a replacement. I have been using since May 2022.
