This product did not work with my Verizon SIM card. When Verizon contacted them, they said they had never heard of the product and weren't sure they could offer adequate advice on a solution. They said that Verizon's SIM cards were proprietary and would only work in phones. It is therefore advisable to ask your provider whether your SIM card is "own".
