Review on Harness the Optimal Signal: Metra 40-HD11 Antenna Adapter Cable for 2009-Up Honda by Joe Garczynski

Not bad not bad for antennas

I work in a car radio shop but we don't have this item. I ordered this part and was "ahh" about the feel and build quality. It looks like a cheaper piece, possibly built on the bottom by Scosche. I have a 2013 Civic Si and can't tell if both radios I tried had semi-parametric tuners (although they worked fine in my other). vehicles), or the part was not that big. I first tried the JVC KWA-61BT and the tuner reception was average if not bad then I switched to a Pioneer dual AVH-X4500BT. This situation was exactly the same. I've tried unplugging the spreader instead of plugging it in and none of this had an effect on reception. Unfortunately I couldn't find another antenna adapter that would work for the car. Except for the 40-HD11, most other antenna adapters will not work. In general, I had a working radio. Just don't expect too much from it.
