Attention 3rd Gen 4Runner owners, this is a great shock replacement for you 2WD! With almost 600,000 miles on the clock it's time to replace those worn out rear shock absorbers. KYB is a respected brand that stands for quality, durability and no surprises. Immediately after installation, I noticed a pleasantly firm ride when driving and bumps were minimal. Get ready for a headache during installation! My advice: grab a saw, a PB blaster and cut through the bolt where the body meets the rubber stop! The top screw is difficult to reach and can still rust. Much luck! This is a great purchase. PS: I've added a photo of my miles, I bet no one will believe it! Runs like a top.
