I HIGHLY recommend these shock absorbers. I just installed it on my 1998 4Runner and took it for a test ride. My previous shocks were original and had 320,000 miles on them. Combined with Moog 841041 rear springs on my 2001 4Runner with Detroit Axle A-pillars it was a great combination. Highly recommended for low cost chassis upgrades for 3rd generation 4Runners. Unless you are going off-road, there is no point in spending extra money on high-quality shock absorbers.
