If you are looking for new shock absorbers to replace the old factory shock absorbers for your 3rd generation 4runner these are perfect. They are affordable and work great. Unless you are going off-road, there is no point in spending extra money on high-quality shock absorbers. If, like me, you treat your 4runner like your daily commuter, they're perfect (85% highway, 15% gravel). If money is not an issue, you can look at Bilstein's 5100 or 4600. I've never used them but I've heard good things about them. I am very happy with these KYB shocks and have fitted Moog 81041 coil springs on them. I drive a 2000 Toyota 4runner sr5 2wd v6 3.4L. And yes, the Moogies fit (although Amazon says they don't, it just raised the back about 1.5 inches from the standard height). Bottom line: if you're on a budget and your car is a Dailey commuter, you won't be disappointed with them.
