Surprisingly Good Product

I have a trick with over 220,000 miles and a set of rusty headers. I had to work with my head and decided to replace the old headers. Skeptical about being cheap I ended up being bitten by the car's age and they would have been better than what was out there. They are good and clean. The only interface is the typical gearbox bell housing piece that you have to cut out with all headers and a piece of top link bracket welded to the pillion frame. Depending on your project, you need to plan this carefully. The head comes with flange and gear up to 2" (I think). These manifolds do not come with O2 sensor ports. I cut off the flanges, welded on the O2 and Kat fittings and then tied them to the Y-pipe. I was surprised at how well everything came together. Whatever your project, you need to make something. I found out on the fly that since the headers protrude a bit from the heads I would recommend getting some heat shields for the in-cab brake lines. Transmission side wheel well and fuel lines (depending on how you route the exhaust) Cover them with a towel when routing them to your head to avoid scratching. delivered and sprayed with copper. It was flawless. Just remember to retighten after a few heating cycles. If possible, get new exhaust bolts. I ordered wider 10.9 flange bolts that worked great. Also, despite being stainless steel, they rust. Therefore, if possible, I recommend covering them with a ceramic paint such as Ceracoat or others. I love them, I've driven them 3,000 miles and they are great.
