I was looking for the best way to mount the SimpliSafe keypad. I didn't like her mount so I looked for this mount and found it. I also had an electrical box on the wall where a previous resident had a wall phone. We only had an electric stove covering it. This attachment allowed us to use this box as it is very easy to attach to the box so not only does it hide the old box but it makes it useful again. The design of the sides of the bracket provides the best protection for the keyboard from anyone. accidentally bump into it. By the way, you don't need a wall socket for this. You can attach it to drywall with screws on a stud or plastic anchors. I'm glad someone was able to come up with this handy mount. Highly recommended.
