Good alternative to RJ45 connections.
Using for some event electronics that have small controllers (8pin) that get unplugged/packed each event. These work well and I suspect will last much longer than RJ45 style setups. In one device there actually is a RJ45 for Ethernet, and this helps reduce confusion and having a volunteer plug in the wrong cable to the wrong jack.
