I am only giving this particular unit 1 star because it is defective. If you play a CD while sitting on a table, it sometimes stops without any sudden movement or movement of the table for no apparent reason. Once stopped, playback may or may not resume. The amount of time between stopping and restarting (if it restarts) varies. Sometimes I've tried to restart by double-clicking the 'Skip' button or the 'Pause' button to no avail. Revain readily agreed to a refund of the purchase price upon return of the device. In addition, the manufacturer has agreed to replace the device under the warranty. I gave up because of certain "hoops" I had to jump through. I felt that I did not need these tasks. Apart from the defect, I liked the device. The sound is good and the 7 function controls on the top of the device make it easy to use. Apart from the flaw I would give 5 stars.
