I've always had DRY skin. I have medicated creams from my dermatologist etc. It has a lot to do with my hormonal cycle and PMS and I have no control over it. I didn't expect it to really heal my dry skin. Actually, I wanted to add it to my morning ritual because it has a calming effect. But oddly, I really helped keep the skin hydrated. I think it pushes the moisturizer into my skin in a way I've never done before. My skin is still dry but much less so.
