Review on Flowmaster 71419 FlowFX Muffler Stainless by Travis Carter
Made my exhaust louder
Wanted to put a second muffler on my truck to make it a little quieter. The test installed by literally pushing it against my exhaust pipe and it got louder. Not just a guess, I used a dB meter because I didn't believe in it. I'm assuming a round body and how should it be constructed to be more of a resonator? And someone mentioned that the resonators need tubes after the body to work. I bought the oval body version and the difference in sound is noticeable.
