This switch is ideal for replacing a broken, non-working switch on our brand new 20" Lasko Power Plus case fan. If you look closely you can see the numbers marked next to each connection point. (2) Try do not have to open the junction box. Simply slide each of the bare wires through the provided holes where the numbers are marked.(3) We didn't even have to cut and re-tap the wires to attach the Lasko fan. We routed just put the wires from the old switch into the new switch.Disconnect them from the old switch.
