I use this power tower in our RV. Power outlets are expensive, and this tower lets you add more power outlets and USB ports. I can just turn off the power with the switches on the top instead of pulling the plugs. The power cord is durable, the device does not overheat. The cord is long enough to reach an outlet and then place it on a counter or table. Our laptops and phones charge just as quickly on this tower as if they were plugged directly into your home's outlet.
