I was fed up with dishwashing sponges that were smeared with food (cheese!) and quickly started to smell. I read the reviews on America's Test Kitchen so I ordered this sponge hoping for better results. I was skeptical but pleasantly surprised! The clean side is really dirty but not abrasive so good for anything. It rinses off well and retains a fairly fresh scent for a long time. It was a bit bigger than I was used to so I wasn't sure I would get used to it but I did. Now I really like the bulkier size. It feels light and airy, cleans very well, rinses well (no cheese!) Well it's a sponge.
