The screws I received (2 packs) are not security screws. These are very nice stainless steel screws that come with a handy wrench and plastic mounts for your license plate, but they definitely won't "always remove any license plate frame from the car" as stated in the product description. The problem with the screws I received is that the B-pillar (the part that keeps a thief from stealing your license plate) was almost missing and didn't reach the crown of the screw. I was able to easily insert either a 3/16" screwdriver (which everyone has) or an appropriately sized torx bit into the screw and easily unscrew it. The supplied key was not needed. I have used them. Those are good screws and they don't rust, they just won't stop the bad guys, so two stars.
