I've been looking for something like that FOREVER. If you look for them, they're buried under cheap rolls of self-adhesive LED lights. These rolls of LED lights might be great for placing under a counter or bed, but they look like crap hanging from the ceiling. You are perfect. They are decorative and would look beautiful in my daughter's bedroom. And the power cord is very long - way better than any I've seen or bought. They come with something like an RF remote control - you don't have to 'point' the remote at the light to get it working. I have to say these are the best lights I've ever seen - I think next time I'll buy a set for my camper. My only complaint is that "Strobe" isn't actually a strobe function. You can get a nice strobe feature by setting it to music, but my daughter wanted an old-fashioned, disco-style strobe effect, and it doesn't seem to happen when set to strobe. It's not even important enough to justify removing part of a star - these things appear to be 5 stars. They come with an extra bulb, but if they're as powerful as they seem, you might not need them. I'll box them up and put them under the tree now - I'll update my review if we have any durability issues.
