ONLY for small clamps!

is ok, just about ok and should be used for the little jobs around the house they are good for. The tension is questionable and slips a bit with a tighter grip. Not as strong as I thought, but hey, they're really small, 4 inches. Again, they are perfect for small jobs and clamps. For larger clips, get a larger pair.
