I really like the compact size but it's not as well built as I thought it is, it's not as sturdy as the regular size but it gets the job done.

Great product. They were hard to find at the local hardware store. Glad to have found her here. Ideal for small projects and limited space. Highly recommended.

is ok, just about ok and should be used for the little jobs around the house they are good for. The tension is questionable and slips a bit with a tighter grip. Not as strong as I thought, but hey, they're really small, 4 inches. Again, they are perfect for small jobs and clamps. For larger clips, get a larger pair.

Probably the smallest vise you can buy. This is ideal for small applications. I'm using this on an adjustment knob that broke on a mic stand. Works fine for me. Holds the tension very well. The clamping mechanism isn't perfectly smooth on either side, and there are a few raw edges. It is what it is, you have to consider what you are getting for the price. If you need precision tools for very specific gaps, look elsewhere.
