In general I would say that the idea is good and this is a good firm and comfortable holder. The biggest problem I had was the rear locking lever, the steering wheel was interfering with it when the phone was inside and it was time to put the lever in the locked position so I had to wiggle and work on it to get the Locking lever worked. Maybe it's just my 3/4" DiamondBack handlebars, I don't know BUT once it snaps into place it's very tight and doesn't move. Another issue was that my Sharp Aquos phone was tight on the mount and when I stretched the rubber band and the plastic rail slid down the plastic bars fell out of the rail and I had to align them and put them back in. Then when I got my Samsung Galaxy S6 it didn't even fit so I had to look for a new bracket. If you have a smaller phone this may not affect you.At the time I had it aside from these issues it was a snug fitting and I have never lost my phone. If you have a phone that fits and you being aware of these issues this is a smart design I hope this review helps someone reading this.
