I was looking for a good emergency radio, undecided on some models, then I saw a Feierya with extra solar panels and that made me choose it! It has a solar cell strip and there are two more solar cell strips on the back that can be folded over for charging. They provide enough energy to run flashlights and radios without batteries! (Not that you need LEDs in sunlight, but they glow). The performance of the lithium battery seems correct, I charged an empty power bank while the internal battery was disconnected and then charged it with a full battery and measured a 4000mAh charge. If the circuit reserves 20% for battery maintenance, then that seems correct for a 5000mAh battery. (Note that even though the internal battery didn't charge the other device, the radio and lights still worked when I drained it to test.) Two things I'd like to see in this radio: 1) the ability to to be activated by the weather radio. distress signal. And 2) 3.5mm headphone jack. All in all it's a good emergency radio, the small speaker doesn't give much bass but really if you want good sound get a Bluetooth speaker. The radio tuner seems good, I counted 30 stations on the VHF band, 2 very clear on the weather band and only 3 in the morning. Maybe just my area or the conditions that day.
