So we have a long haired dog, shedding daily, a dog that lies on the floor. Here's what I think of Roomba. So "Alfred" ALWAYS records everything. no Does Alfred ALWAYS hit every spot on the house? no Does Alfred ALWAYS go back to his docking station? no Alfred is a loud little guy. Yes, but my vacuum cleaner AND my husband are even more upset about all the dog hair on the floor! Alfred saves me a lot of time. YES SIR. Alfred, if he runs once in the morning and once in the evening, he gets everything in the house. YES SIR. Does Alfred easily transition from our hardwood to carpet? Yes. Will I be able to go without a Roomba for another day? DEFINITELY NO! This machine is not perfect and there is room for improvement. Sure, BUT for what she does and the time she saves me EVERY DAY, she's WORTH it! SIDE NOTE. My husband's allergies have improved significantly since we have Alfred.
