this is always one of those items you can always enlarge, i got these for my 6 year old and after shrinking it can enlarge the item and hopefully last a few years as described and pictured They fit him pretty well except they're a little longer which isn't a big deal. He said they are very comfortable and would be good for winter especially when we are sledding and less bulky. Highly recommend, especially if you live in the Midwest
