Excellent value for money. Knife extremely sharp. They clean well, I refused hand washing almost immediately. The thickness of the knives varies depending on the choice of knife from the block. The grips are comfortable and you can use them with confidence despite being made from some fairly slick material. Blocking is fine. A darker stain or just matte black better hides the fact that the wood is cheap. However, it serves its purpose very well. Don't leave them in the sink. They will rust. They're technically tarnished since they're stainless steel, but still sticky. The only criticism is that the sharpener is in an awkward position. You must remove the scissors and the filleting knife to use it.
