Upgrading from 1920 x 1080 144Hz? DO THAT!

I have this monitor every 4 days and will update it if anything happens. but here is my current review. Background - So I'm upgrading from "ASUS VG248QZ". This is a 1920 x 1080 144Hz monitor. When I first got it I was amazed playing at 60Hz lol. You can notice this in FPS games and even by simply moving the mouse. It's stunning. - It has served me for over 4 years and is now my second main monitor after this purchase. - Pros* Well, the first thing you notice when you take it out of the box is crap. This thing is bigger than I expected lol if you upgrade from 21 or 24 inches. *CRISP. Yes, you can only safely overclock the monitor to 115Hz and you may notice a SMALL drop in frequency from 144Hz to 115Hz, but the clarity and beauty of 3440 x 1440 is orgasmic. I installed games that I don't even want to play just to see their beauty. a lot of nasty comments about the brightness, but when I set it to the default settings everything seemed perfect to the factory settings. * The red backlight suited my aesthetic and gaming setup. * The on-screen buttons in the lower right corner of the monitor are easy to operate compared to other people's feedback. Makes me think what was your problem? lol! - Cons * 144Hz to 115Hz or standard 100Hz will be noticeable if you are above average in FPS games. * The monitor gets very hot and I could almost smell it for the first few days. If that makes sense lol but not much lately. But if I were to touch the bottom of the monitor, I would definitely feel it generating heat. Most people are afraid to pull the trigger on an obscure brand, especially Sceptre, but I have a 55-inch TV from them so I trusted and it paid off. The compromise with this monitor will definitely be for gamers who love 144Hz and MUST have it. so mainly aimed at FPS players, BUT! if you play another genre. Buy this monitor, you won't regret it. You can easily overclock it to 115Hz, and even if you decide not to go too far, this beast's display is gorgeous. Sometimes you'll think the image is about to disappear from the screen, lol
