Size and Score are better than good. The glass works great with brass. The only issues are the internal construction of the drum and the top and top padding. Before you start checking for leaks, follow the instructions in the included manual to check fitment. Did that multiple times. I ended up having to use a tool to tighten the lid to keep it from leaking. It took the same amount of torque to remove it. Need either a thicker gasket or a top tightening tool or a different screw design on the top. a nuisance and this is a Lyman product so you get what you pay for. May I recommend it? Yes, with one caveat. This is an average price if you are on a budget, but it cleans brass very well. It has potential (not ideal yet). Use Lemi Shine (not much) and three drops of Dawn's new super cleanser. You will be amazed at how clean the old case is after 1.5 hours.
