fail. There are similar amps in this category that you may want to try first.

Arrived very well packaged - no complaints. My biggest complaint (I bought two identical amps) is that when setting the gain (this is done with no speakers connected of course!) the units are mic! For those who have never heard this term, Google will explain it better and I'm sorry. In any case, for a consumer product like this, this is highly undesirable. This indicates poor design and lack of attention to detail. I understand this is a budget amp, but other budget amps I've bought over the years have never exhibited mic behavior. Prior to the sale I emailed Power Acoustic for the manuals and Kevin was very responsive and helpful. That was the main reason I first decided to try the Power Acoustic product. After the sale I sent another email and still no reply (it's been a few weeks now). I'll leave the final decision to you, but this is my first time trying Power Acoustic. and the last time. For that mech experience, there are other amps in this category that I should have tried before this model. In general, I'm not a picky person and don't consider myself a very harsh critic, but there are a number of factors that allow me to give this amp no more than 2 stars. I'm not happy but you get what you pay for. I *almost* feel like I got my money's worth and that would raise the rating to a solid 3 star "average" rating.
